No matter what I do, CC will not see the 2017 files on the system. I found the forum posts listing the steps for uninstalling CC Updater, using the CC Cleaner, etc, and have done all those steps.
PLUS, they are taking up several Gigs of space on my limited laptop hard drive. I went through the Creative Cloud and uninstalled all the 2018 files, but the 2017 ones are still there and there are still system files pointing to it. but the system will not let me because newer versions are installed and there are conflicts. I let my subscription run out because I can't afford it right now (broke as hell college student), so I was going to just reinstall my old license for CS6 to handle basic tasks. but for some reason Adobe left both versions on my computer. I previously had CC 2017 and updated to 2018.
